Self-Assessment Inspires Learning
This downloadable assessment toolkit, created by Dr. Lori Desautels, an assistant professor at Marian University (Wisconsin, USA), is designed to have children and adolescents self-assess in order to inspire learning, curiosity, and awareness. The toolkit includes a Self-Assessment Rubric for Social and Emotional Development for students and educators, that lists questions focused on short- and long-term goals, leading to a process of metacognition and sense of autonomy about learning. Also included is a worksheet that lists big goals and daily goals for students, as well as additional questions for self-assessment.
